Like many, we’re struggling to find the right words to express what we’re feeling and how to move forward. In Long Beach, we’re experiencing continued peaceful protests over the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arberry, Breonna Taylor and every other extra-judicial killing of innocent Black Americans.

It is not the right moment to use our social media reach for self-promotion. It is also not the right moment to be silent while our city, county, and nation are in profound pain and unrest. We’ve always valued transparency, authenticity, and responsibility in our personal and professional lives—it’s one of the meaningful ways small business can hopefully help create pressure for larger corporations to follow suit.
In addition to our personal efforts to take action socially, politically and financially, we will contribute 4% of profits indefinitely to organizations working to create real change at the local, state and federal levels to fight systemic racism and injustice. The American Civil Liberties Union was founded in 1920 and is our nation's guardian of liberty. The ACLU works in the courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to all people in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.

Grassroots Law Project

Grassroots Law Project bridges the gap between grassroots organizing and legal expertise in criminal justice reform by bringing millions of us together to address the most pressing and egregious failures of the system, hold powerful actors accountable, and advocate for deep structural change.
