How We Measure

Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

FRONT LENGTH: Measure from the top seam near the collar to the bottom of the shirt.

The Grim Tim Dry Selvage Indigo jean from Nudie Jeans is a modernized slim straight mid-rise jean made from proprietary medium weight Japanese selvage denim from Kaihara Mills--the same denim that's been made just for Nudie since 2001.  This 13.75oz denim is made from organic cotton and features a tight weave and right-hand twill construction resulting in a heavy slub texture that fades beautifully with wear.  Model is 5'10", 175 lbs wearing size 30
