EFFECTS ON BUSINESS
The pandemic is having long-term, sustained effects on many aspects of business, including supply chain disruptions, labor shortages and interruptions, rising shipping and duties fees, escalating cost of materials, shipping delays, etc. While we and our brand partners continue to make every effort to absorb costs wherever possible, we know that it is not sustainable to our businesses to do so indefinitely and in all circumstances.
Third party retailers, including us, are not able to sacrifice all our profit margins to maintain the status quo (when the status quo no longer exists), and we're finding ourselves needing to adapt in a number of ways. Effective Fall 2021, we are no longer able to offer first-time customer discounts for email sign up and we have discontinued our customer loyalty points program. We apologize for the short notice, but inflation, shipping rates, and other costs associated with the day-to-day operations of our business increased so rapidly we're left making quick decisions to ensure the longevity of Snake Oil Provisions.
Labor shortages and interruptions and factory closures continue to impact production lead times. We regularly communicate with our brands and makers in order to do our best to communicate accurate lead times with you, our customers, but production delays are inevitable for the foreseeable future. Please consult our website and weekly email newsletter where we will make every attempt to provide current information regarding production delays.
COVID-19 STORE POLICY
Per LA County mandate and Snake Oil Provisions Store Policy, we require all staff customers, and guests to wear a proper mask, worn properly (covering your nose and mouth) when inside our establishment. We're committed to ensuring a safe shopping experience for all. Below are ongoing measures we're taking to help ensure everyone can shop confidently:
- Disinfect cash wrap and commonly touched throughout day
- Increased ventilation and use of commercial air purifier inside store
- Provide hand sanitizer to staff and visitors
- Contactless shopping via online & phone orders
- Free local pick up
- Remote shopping consultations available via email, text, Direct Message, or phone
