Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

FRONT LENGTH: Measure from the top seam near the collar to the bottom of the shirt.

The UES New Purcara Sweatshirt in Black is a modern, tailored fitting heavyweight crewneck sweatshirt woven on antique shuttle looms in Japan from a unique blend of cotton types. This new and improved version of the classic Purcara sweatshirt that UES retired in 2023 features a hybrid blend of Desi and Uganda cotton for the facing and raw Zimbabwean cotton for the backing. Compared to the former Purcara sweatshirt, this new edition has a very similar look, softer feel, and utilizes higher quality and more sustainable organic Ugandan cotton.
