Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

FRONT LENGTH: Measure from the top seam near the collar to the bottom of the shirt.

The Iron Heart 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket in Superblack Fades to Grey is a modernized take on the classic Type 3 trucker jacket in Iron Heart's famous heavyweight high fading black denim. Made from a combination of sulphur and reactive dyed threads, SBG fabric has a surprisingly soft hand, easy break in, and quick dynamic high-contrast fading. This IH Type III is a 2016 re-issue that's not as slim fitting in the shoulders and arms as current iterations, and the body length is a bit shorter than current versions with hand-warmer pockets. We love this fit--easy to wear with layers, allows for better movement, and is comfortable off the rack. A truly great jacket for folks with broader shoulders, muscular arms, or anyone looking for a bit more room or a little more vintage-inspired fit. Model is 5’10”, 175 lbs wearing size Medium.
