Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

FRONT LENGTH: Measure from the top seam near the collar to the bottom of the shirt.

The 101 Standard Straight Jean in Sulphur Black from Los Angeles' Schaeffer's Garment Hotel is a mid weight slim straight fitting jean handmade in very small batches in the brand's own sewing house. Made from sulphur dyed medium-weight denim from Japan's renowned Nihon Menpu mill, this fabric has a rigid but almost silky hand and soft weft so it's easy to break in. We're very picky about the fits we offer, and this is hands down one of the best slim/ straight fitting jeans we've worn. Customized personal details like mixed metal buttons & rivets and a unique aged cowhide patch drive home the handmade, small-batch and premium experience of this brand. Model is 5'10", 175 lbs wearing size 31.
